What is the Guillotine?

Why is the guillotine plastic and not stainless steel ?  

Metal sieves with interchangeable mesh are already available, I am not attempting to copy products that are already on the market.  

For Water Sieving: The plastic frame insulates the interior, maintaining temperature. Filling the frame during printing with water/sodium polyacrylate, propylene glycol, or ethylene glycol can lower its freezing point. Pre-freezing the frame helps keep the hash cold during collection, sieving, and rinsing.

For Dry Sifting: The plastic frame provides electrical insulation, enhancing separation through natural static and triboelectric charging of materials.

WHERE CAN I BUY BULK SCREENING MATERIAL BY THE YARD?  

Sourcing bulk screening material by the yard is possible through several channels. Rosin Evolution currently appears to be a cannabis-focused supplier offering various mesh. The Fu screen designed by Matt Armstrong/Cryomass is available from SCREENERKING.COM

For other stainless steel options, Gutenberg, and The Press Club provide bulk quantities. Caution is advised when purchasing mesh from eBay and Amazon due to potential inaccuracies or inconsistencies in the mesh size. It is critical to meticulously inspect and confirm the micron range of any sourced material against your project requirements.
