TRICHOME STALK DETECTION TECHNOLOGY
TRICHOME STALK DETECTION TECHNOLOGY
What is Stalker?
Stalker is HASHCRU's proprietary technology for trichome stalk detection. The process uses photography and ultraviolet light combined with band-pass filters to measure the fluorescence of particles during the stalk and contaminant removal process.
Chlorophyll in stalks and contaminants fluoresces red, which provides a stark contrast to the bluish fluorescence of THCA and other active compounds present in the hash. By monitoring the fluorescence intensity, the system can detect chlorophyll. When the fluorescence level drops below a certain threshold, the process is deemed complete, and operator can be notified to load the next batch, or automated controls can be integrated to to empty and load the sieve.
